Wine & Spirits
Wine and spirits are usually packaged in glass bottles that have designs that can vary considerably between products. Round bottles are often labeled with self-adhesive wrap-around labels. Bottles that have narrow necks, sloping shoulders or other unusual details may need a different solution, since a regular label may not sit smoothly across the entire surface. Depending on the bottle design, manufacturers may choose a wrap-around label, a shrink sleeve or a neck band.
- Full-body shrink sleeves for bottles with distinctive shapes or a larger decoration area
- Partial sleeves for selected branding or product information
- Tamper-evident bands around bottle necks and closures
- Self-adhesive wrap-around labels for round glass bottles
For shaped bottles and narrow-neck formats, full-body sleeves and tamper-evident bands can be applied with our SRL-450 labelers, followed by steam shrinking tunnels to help the film settle evenly over the glass. Classic round bottles can use self-adhesive wrap-around labels instead, especially when the design is meant to keep the traditional look of a wine or spirit bottle.
