Food
Food products are packed in many different ways, from sauces and condiments in bottles or jars to ready meals in cartons and trays. Labels need to keep ingredients, product details and other required information easy to read, while still helping the package look clear and appealing on the shelf. The right labeling method depends on the container shape, the label format and whether tamper evidence is needed around the cap or opening.
- Sauce, condiment and spread containers
- Bottles, jars and food cans
- Cartons, trays and ready-meal packs
- Tamper-evident sealing for caps and openings
- Handles round, flat and irregular package shapes
- Supports decorative, information and tamper-evident labels
- Makes changeovers easier when several product formats share one line
- Works with both shrink sleeves and self-adhesive labels
Our SRL-350 shrink sleeve label applicators can put labels on different food containers, including bottles and jars, and can also apply tamper-evident bands around caps and openings. When paired with a separate single-zone steam shrink tunnel, the film fits more evenly around curved and irregular containers. For cartons, flat bottles and ready-meal boxes, our side label applicator applies self-adhesive labels to flat or slightly curved surfaces and can be added easily to an existing packaging line.
